New manager Marco Silva will want to bring in some new faces as the club battle to avoid relegation but he won’t be handed a huge kitty unless the club is finally 7taken over by a Chinese consortium.

Manchester City

Striker Shane Long has interested West Ham while Saints also retain an interest in Daniel Sturridge if Liverpool decide he is surplus to requirements.

Though boss David Moyes wants to make major changes to his squad he has been told there is little money available to sign anyone.

New boss Paul Clement has been told he can bring in two or three players to boost the club’s battle to beat the drop.

But Swansea also know they may have to resist approaches for striker Fernando Llorente, who has caught the interest of Chelsea.

Defender Kieran Trippier has a host of clubs interested in him after he lost out to Kyle Walker in the battle to be first choice at right-back.
